I love everything about this place! Plenty of parking. Casual rustic atmosphere with touches of elegance. Rock wall and wall fireplace, large comfy chairs at tables that have room for every delightful thing that will appear (drinks, apps, food). Great service that is attentive without being intrusive. And last but not least, fabulous food. Everything was exceptionally delicious, from the apps to the desserts. Their creme brulee is the best I've ever tasted. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food.

Consistently good food, drinks, and service. Bolder offers a great core menu with rotating weekly specials and a broad selection of desserts (try the bread pudding - you won't regret it) and after dinner drinks. Highly recommend the crispy brussel sprouts appetizer, the "bold fashioned," and the salmon with seasonal risotto. The beef medallions and cornbread crusted chicken never disappoint, but always happy to try something new. Truly never a bad experience at Bolder!

Our first time to BOLDER highlight of the visit was 3$ bloody Mary's, and Mimosas. I got the crab cake, whish was 25$, and French fries that were served just above raw... they remade for me. Other food was marginal, although my wife enjoyed her shrimp and pasta dish. The service was lackluster, although staff was hustling and friendly / Apologetic. I think they were a bit understaffed. Rest. was no more than 50% full. Menu was very wide ranging, which may be to there detriment. Likely won't return, there are other places closer, but I hesitate to give them a "don't go there" review... I hope the staff reads and makes some improvements. Bill was also inaccurate, it charged for 2 extra drinks (which I think was an honest mistake) good luck !

Wonderful hidden gem in countryside Howard County. From the outside, it looks like a converted farmhouse. Inside has upscale decor fitting for fine dining! Food matches interior! Everything I have tried on the menu has been outstanding. On my first visit, I had watermelon salad and an order of bang bang shrimp. Both were extremely tasty. My husband had a burger, which he loved. My second visit was for brunch, and they did not disappoint. My husband and I both ordered the Captain Morgan's French toast platter, and it was delicious! The French toast was made from actual French bread and was my favorite! I also got the pineapple mimosa (they have 3 flavors to choose from) for $3 (special price for brunch), which was also very good. They have a beautiful outdoor dining area, but it was too hot to eat outside when we went. Put this place on your must visit list, and it will not disappoint. A little out of the way, but worth it!

Excellent service. The food was pretty good. The chairs are hardwood with no padding, so for those of us who don't have a lot of cushion for the pushing, they may be a bit uncomfortable. The dining area is also very cramped when it's busy. The menu was impressive with a lot of choices, so I'll definitely be back to try some other things.

It's funny I have never reviewed bolder before, it was a Go To restaurant in western Howard county, long ago. It was roughly a year since my last visit before doing restaurant week a few days ago. I had the best meals here in the past, but now it's a episode of Gordon Ramsay's kitchen nightmares. From the dated decor to the worn fixtures on the bathroom and undercooked or just plain bland food . I am sure it's now a Mecca for the old folks to love the dining experience. I will not go into details about my dinner as that book is too long to write. The bar cocktails were a hit and miss. But as I decided to take home the desserts, just to get out of there..... The apple fritter looks and tastes like a Sysco special and the tiramisu tastes like cardboard. I am reminded why I will not be coming back to bolder. Now what to do with the tiramisu, it's really hard to turn it down...

incredible crab and artichoke dip! it's like it was whipped to perfection and served with house fried and seasoned pita chips. the seasonal sangria was spectacular, and the apple galette was amazing. unfortunately, my burger was very overcooked. would definitely go back!

My first time at Bolder and the food was amazing. Service was excellent and so were the drinks. The only downside I would say is the Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee didn't have any actual Vanilla Bean. It was still a great dessert. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lay back place but a meal that taste like its fine dining with out breaking the bank.
